Kovalam Surfing
Kovalam is one of southern India’s established surf destinations, combining accessible beach breaks with Kerala’s relaxed coastal atmosphere.
Overview
Kovalam sits on Kerala’s Arabian Sea coast and has developed into one of the state’s best-known centres for surfing and other water activities.
The area offers opportunities for beginners taking their first lessons as well as improving surfers looking for longer sessions in warm tropical water.
Outside the monsoon period, the coast provides a convenient introduction to surfing that can easily be combined with a longer Kerala trip.
Typical Itinerary
